Zinc-Steel Perimeter Railing
A boundary that is taken apart as easily as it is put up. The railing is hot-dip galvanised steel tube — posts, rails and vertical bars — bolted together on site rather than welded, so a bay that is struck can be unbolted and replaced without cutting the run. The usual section is 1.8 m high × 3 m wide, with 2–4 rail levels, and the finish goes on over galvanised tube that is protected inside and out.
On this page: the bolted assembly and where it goes (01), the published sections, rail levels and bar sizes (02), what the build and finishes give you (03), the foot detail and colours that stay on the drawing (04), packing, price and delivery (05), and four questions answered from this page (06).
Bolted on site, replaced by unbolting
The base material is hot-dip galvanised steel tube, protected inside and out, and the finish is applied over that galvanised tube rather than being asked to do the work alone. Posts, rails and vertical bars are assembled with bolts and without welding, which is unusual for a boundary product and useful in two ways: there is no hot work on site, and a damaged bay is a part rather than a section of the run.
The published range gives 2–4 rail levels, posts and rails of 50 × 50 / 40 × 40 mm and vertical bars of 19 × 19 mm. The usual section is 1.8 m high × 3 m wide; 1.2 m × 2 m is also a standard section; and a roll-mesh version in 1.5 m, 1.8 m or 2 m height by 30 m rolls is supplied for farming use.
It sits in the middle of the guardrail family: more formal than a mesh boundary such as a double-wire mesh fence, and less domestic than a PVC railing. Where the line has to keep people away from an edge rather than close a boundary, the excavation edge guardrail is the product for that job.
Zinc-steel perimeter railing — sections and finishes
Section sizes, rail levels, bar sizes, bolts and the colour range are published. The post fixing to the ground is not: it follows the surface the railing stands on, and it is confirmed on the shop drawing.
| Product / model reference | Zinc-steel perimeter railing (锌钢围墙护栏) — hot-dip galvanised steel tube railing for boundary, residential, school, factory and farm use. |
|---|---|
| Usual section | 1.8 m high × 3 m wide — the manufacturer's most common size. |
| Other standard section | 1.2 m × 2 m. |
| Height range | 1.2–2.0 m high, made to order above or below that range; the school variant is generally no higher than 2 m. |
| Roll mesh (farming use) | 1.5 m / 1.8 m / 2 m high × 30 m roll. |
| Base material | Hot-dip galvanised steel tube, inside and out — stated by the manufacturer on two of its pages. |
| Surface treatment | Hot-dip galvanising (热镀锌), hot-dip dipping (热浸塑) or electrostatic spray (静电喷涂); hot-dip dipping is the most common. |
| Rail levels, posts, rails and bars | 2–4 rail levels; posts and rails 50 × 50 / 40 × 40 mm; vertical bars 19 × 19 mm (published specification for the range). |
| Assembly | Assembled without welding, bolted together on site so a section can be unbolted and replaced. |
| Fixing / bolts | Stainless-steel security bolts. |
| School variant | Half-round-head square-neck bolts with anti-theft washers; generally no higher than 2 m. |
| Colour range | Black frosted, milky white, grass green, sky blue, deep pink, light pink, gloss black. |
| Special colours | Champagne, bronze, imitation copper. |
| Post fixing to the ground | Made to the project specification — send us the drawing or the standard you follow and the footing or base detail is confirmed on the shop drawing. |
| Manufacturer's stated claim | Four-layer anti-corrosion treatment with a service life of more than ten years — stated by the manufacturer on the perimeter-railing page only; presented here as the manufacturer's own claim. |
| Packing | Posts, rails, bars and fittings are bundled and palletised for container loading; the exact packing method is confirmed per specification with the loading plan. |
What the galvanised tube and the bolted build give you
- Galvanised inside and out. The tube is hot-dip galvanised through the section, not only on the face that is seen.
- No welding on site. Posts, rails and bars are bolted together, so there is no hot work at the boundary.
- A bay can be replaced. Strike a section and it is unbolted and swapped, rather than the run being cut and re-made.
- 2–4 rail levels. The rail count is chosen with the height, so a 2 m run and a 1.2 m run are not the same section.
- Published sections. Posts and rails 50 × 50 / 40 × 40 mm, vertical bars 19 × 19 mm.
- Three surface treatments. Hot-dip galvanising, hot-dip dipping or electrostatic spray, with hot-dip dipping the most common.
- Eleven colours plus specials. Seven standard colours and champagne, bronze and imitation copper as special colours.
- A school variant. Half-round-head square-neck bolts with anti-theft washers, generally no higher than 2 m.
The foot detail, the colour and the height band
Heights run from 1.2–2.0 m, made to order above or below that range, and the post fixing to the ground is made to the project specification: the footing or base detail is confirmed on the shop drawing from the surface the railing stands on. Colour is part of the same conversation — seven standard colours and three specials, with the reference confirmed on the drawing rather than matched by eye.
On durability the manufacturer states a four-layer anti-corrosion treatment with a service life of more than ten years, on its perimeter-railing page. That is presented here as the manufacturer's own claim, and we confirm in writing what finish and what warranty wording we can supply for your project. Passing a claim off as a guarantee would be easy and wrong, so the two are kept apart.
Posts, rails and bars in separate bundles
Posts, rails, bars and fittings are bundled and palletised for container loading, with the bars and the bolt sets kept as their own bundles so that an assembly pack arrives complete. Because the product is bolted, the fixing set matters as much as the tube: it travels labelled against the drawing. The exact packing method is confirmed per specification with the loading plan.

Four questions, answered from this page
- What section sizes are published?
- 1.8 m high × 3 m wide is the usual section and 1.2 m × 2 m is also standard, with a roll-mesh version in 1.5 m, 1.8 m or 2 m height by 30 m rolls for farming use.
- Is it welded or bolted?
- Bolted. Posts, rails and bars are assembled without welding, using stainless-steel security bolts, so a damaged section can be unbolted and replaced.
- What are the rail and bar sizes?
- 2–4 rail levels, posts and rails of 50 × 50 / 40 × 40 mm, and vertical bars of 19 × 19 mm.
- What finishes and colours can I have?
- Hot-dip galvanising, hot-dip dipping or electrostatic spray, with hot-dip dipping the most common. Seven standard colours and champagne, bronze and imitation copper as special colours.
- How long will the coating last?
- The manufacturer states a four-layer anti-corrosion treatment with a service life of more than ten years. That is the manufacturer's own claim, presented as such; we confirm in writing what finish and warranty wording we can supply for your project.
