Framed Mesh Fence

A loose sheet of mesh sags, and no post spacing will talk it out of it. This product closes the argument at the factory: the welded panel is welded into its own frame of square tube, round tube, rectangular tube or angle steel, so the frame carries the panel instead of the posts. Frame section and post section are then chosen together, because the panel bears on the post along that frame.

On this page: what the frame does and where the fence goes (01), the published frame, post and finish figures (02), what the framed build gives you (03), the mesh and panel decisions that stay on the drawing (04), packing, price and delivery (05), and four questions answered from this page (06).

Overview

The frame is the product

The mesh is welded from low-carbon steel wire to the aperture the customer specifies, and then that panel is welded into a frame. Welding it in is the step that matters: a framed panel holds a flat, even face and keeps its edges, where a plain roll of mesh tensioned between posts will bow and open over a long run. The frame can be square tube, round tube, rectangular tube or angle steel, so the finished edge can be square, round or a flat angle depending on what the run is next to.

Frame and post are chosen as a pair, because the panel is fixed to the post along the frame rather than through the mesh. The published frame is 20 × 30 mm or 20 × 40 mm rectangular welded tube at 0.8, 1.0, 1.2 or 1.5 mm wall, and it goes onto ø48 mm round tube or square tube from 40 × 40 to 80 × 80 mm. That is a lighter structure than the tall welded lines in the family — the anti-climb Y-post fence and the sports court fence both go higher and heavier — and it is chosen where a flat, framed face matters more than height.

Mesh aperture and panel size stay on the drawing. The panel is quoted to the run rather than to a catalogue size, which is why this page publishes the frame and post sections but not a fixed panel list.

Framed mesh fence — frame, post and finish

The published values are the tube sections, the wire and the surface treatment. Aperture and panel size are deliberately absent from the fixed list: they come off your drawing, and they are quoted as such in writing.

Features

What the frame and the range give you

  • A panel that stays flat. Welding the mesh into the frame keeps the face even and the edges true along the whole run.
  • Four frame materials. Square tube, round tube, rectangular tube or angle steel, so the edge detail can be matched to the site.
  • Published tube sections. 20 × 30 mm or 20 × 40 mm frame welded tube, 0.8 / 1.0 / 1.2 / 1.5 mm wall.
  • Round or square posts. ø48 mm round tube at 1.0 / 1.2 / 1.5 / 2.0 mm wall, or 40 × 40, 60 × 60, 40 × 60 and 80 × 80 mm square at 0.8–2.0 mm wall.
  • Seven published colours. White, green, dark green, grass green, black, blue and yellow.
  • Two finish routes. Electro-galvanised or hot-dip galvanised and then PVC dipped, or galvanised plus powder coating.
  • Quoted to the run. Aperture and panel size follow the drawing, so the panel is made for the boundary rather than cut down from a stock size.
Made to project specification

Aperture and panel size come off the drawing

Two values are left open on purpose: the mesh aperture and the panel size. Both are made to the project specification, and both are confirmed in writing from the drawing or the standard you follow before anything is welded. The mesh is welded from low-carbon steel wire, so the aperture is a manufacturing choice rather than a limitation — it is set to what the boundary has to keep in or out.

The frame and the post are then agreed as a pair. Because the panel is fixed to the post along the frame, a heavier post behind a light frame is money spent where it does nothing, and the reverse leaves the panel working against its own fixings. Send the run length, the corner and gate positions, the frame section you want and the post section you want, and the build is confirmed on the drawing.

Packing, price and delivery

Framed panels, bundled and palletised

Framed panels are the bulkiest item in this family, so they are stacked and bundled as panels rather than nested, with the posts bundled separately and the fittings bagged against the drawing reference. The exact packing method is confirmed per specification with the loading plan, because a framed panel that has been loaded badly arrives with a bent corner.

Questions

Four questions, answered from this page

What does the frame do?
It holds the welded mesh panel flat and gives it the rigidity of a framed unit. The panel is welded into the frame, and the frame is fixed to the post along its length.
What frame and post sections are published?
Frame: 20 × 30 mm or 20 × 40 mm rectangular welded tube at 0.8 / 1.0 / 1.2 / 1.5 mm wall. Posts: ø48 mm round tube at 1.0 / 1.2 / 1.5 / 2.0 mm wall, or square 40 × 40, 60 × 60, 40 × 60 and 80 × 80 mm at 0.8–2.0 mm wall.
Are mesh aperture and panel size fixed?
No. Both are made to the project specification and confirmed from your drawing or the standard you follow.
What finishes and colours can I have?
Electro-galvanised or hot-dip galvanised then PVC dipped, or galvanised plus powder coating. Colours are white, green, dark green, grass green, black, blue and yellow.
How is it quoted?
Per order — FOB Wuhan / Shanghai, CIF or DDP. Send the drawing, the quantity and the destination port and the MOQ, loading plan and lead time are confirmed with the quotation.
